A Shout-out to Homeschoolers!

Hey, fellow homeschoolers!

 

Just an informal poll:

 

Would you like to see a special section devoted to homeschooling topics, products, & merchants?

 

We homeschooled our youngest son from 4th grade through high school graduation. He's currently enrolled in our local community college. I wonder how many other homeschooling families belong to Upromise? Surely, we can't be the only ones!

 

Let's hear from the homeschoolers and anyone else interested in the subject. :smileyhappy:

Hi there.

I joined Upromise post college graduation and wanted to say hello because I was home-schooled. I was home-schooled from 7th grade through high school. I attended community college and then transferred to Vassar College. I graduated in May of 2009.

Hi mch1588, welcome & congratulations on your recent graduation. What a great accomplishment!

 

I think Upromise is a great resource for everybody, but I think it could be especially useful for homeschoolers. When you think about the investment homeschoolers make buying their own learning materials, getting something back on those purchases from Upromise would be very appreciated. I know there are already bookstores & textbook companies that participate, but wouldn't it be nice to have them, as well as other resources, included in a special section dedicated to homeschoolers?
