Best Money Saving Tips Contest.jpgIt's no surprise that Upromise members know how to save money.  But when asked to share their best money saving tips for a chance at winning one of three $100 Target gift certificates in our Best Money Saving Tips Contest, our members showed just how creative their money saving minds are!  Our top three winners included CassNick, who offered 14 tips including adding the guest shopping link in the signature of personal and work emails.  What a great way to make guest shopping just a click away for friends andfamily!  Sweets4sb suggested, among other things, recycling water bottles by filling them up again rather than throwing them out.  This helps save money AND the environment - nice work sweets4sb!  Way to think green!  And the third winner, prince2charmin offered a handful of money-saving decorating tips including making your own holiday cards rather than buying them.  This allows you to add a personal touch to every card you make all while saving money too!   

 

My personal favorites came from lcarriej and marisol who both suggested packing a lunch for work.  It's a basic concept that can save you hundreds of dollars, and even calories, each year!  I also liked WinningEdgEquin's suggestion of making sure your tires are properly filled with air since tires low on air use more gas and we all know that gas doesn't come cheap these days!
