I booked a motel for the weekend.  Three of us were going, my husband, my daughter (16) & myself.  I had thought that I had made this evident thru their search, but since their seach no longer has that capability, maybe I didn't.  The hotel we went to, Exteneded Stay America, only has rooms with 1 Queen size bed!  My daughter had to sleep on the recliner.  This may have been my fault, but the lady at the desk said that priceline will put 4 in a room, she wasn't surprised.  They provided extra bedding & towels at no extra charge.

Also, I had gone with this hotel because my booking said that I had a Non-Smoking room.  The other hotel I was looking at (not thru priceline) didn't, so we decided to pay the higher price because my daughter has asthma.  Priceline didn't inform them that we were booked for a non-smoking room.  We had to stay in a smoking room.  The room we stayed in wasn't bad, it could have been much worse.

I recomend calling the hotel to confirm the reservation!

I have no idea what happened to you with that motel.  However, I have NEVER had a problem with Priceline and I ONLY use the "name your own price" option.

 

Read my post.  I can help you if you need it when you need a hotel.  Priceline is better than sliced bread.

I was just trying to be helpful with the previous poster on this blog when using Priceline.com.  That is okay, isn't it?  You know, being helpful to one's fellow man - or woman, as the case might be.
