Best hotel deals you can get - bar none

If you're not using the Priceline.com "name your own price" option, you're paying way too much for any hotel room.  I've read some of your posts and am mystified by the fact that none of you use this option in your search for hotels.  Don't be afraid.  I use it EVERY MONTH and have NEVER been disappointed.  I live in Seattle, WA and visit Vancouver, BC often - very often.  I don't know if you've ever been there but, it's a great city.

Anyway, I've stayed at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Vancouver for as little as $50US.  I've stayed at the Westin Bayshore for $60US.  The Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle for $50US.  I've stayed other places that are just as nice, if not nicer, for incredible rates.  Priceline.com is the ONLY way to go for hotels.

There is also another website to use in concert with Priceline.com to give you a hint on your initial bid.  This website is incredible.  I saw somebody get a room at the Thompson Beverly Hills for $105US.  I urge you to check out the websites for all of the hotels I've mentioned.  You will see what amazing is all about.  Expedia, Hotels.com, Travelocity, Orbitz.....all garbage.  I do not work for Priceline.com, nor do I benefit in any way from letting you know.  I don't know how many people actually read this thing but, if you're interested in a little help with Priceline and that other website, feel free to reply to this post.  I do not work for the other website either.  It is the coolest travel site ever.  It is to be used together with Priceline.com - I doubt that they are affiliated.  It's just a blog site.  I wouldn't stay in any hotel without the sites.  In fact, I just stayed at the Hyatt Regency in downtown San Francisco, in the heart of the financial district for $75US.  The parking was almost as much as the room.

Re: Best hotel deals you can get - bar none

i have used Priceline too two times since joining UPromise and those were the first times.  I had no problems booking or getting credits.  I am though unsure about the 'name your own price' thing???  Does it mean that you are locked into a selection once you choose to 'name your own price?'  I am going to re-check the site now, but please lt us know about this 'blog' you use as well.  Thanks!  Good luck saving, everyone!!!
