second year e-reward member

Those of you who elected to continue with e-rewards for the second year i womder how you are doing. I had a splendid first year earning $100. twice.  This gave me a contribution of $100 for the year. I didn't plan to continut but i was enticed by additional rewards for signing up and redoing my profile. However in the 6 months i received maybe one survey, but several quick surveys etc that offered .35 and .50 cents. As a result in the six months i have earned only $25.30. I feel as if I don't have a chance to earn more.

i redid my profile, have the highest number of requests,..click on e-rewards every time I log on so i don't miss an opportunity. Perhaps i am off the demographics with my age etc. anyway i feel like throwing in the towel. Its not een fun any more.

Re: second year e-reward member

Hello Wada,

I'm writing in response to your post and want to encourage you not to give up on e-Rewards.  While you are doing all the right things in terms of updating your profile and attempting to take surveys as soon as you get them, the outside factor here is that, like most businesses, the market research business is a bit slow right now which probably explains why you aren't seeing as many opportunities to take surveys.  However, as the economy starts to improve, you should start to see more surveys in your inbox.  So stick with it if you can because in the end, it's free money and you don't have to spend to save.  Good luck!

Re: second year e-reward member

I am not discouraged, just stating the facts. Interested in hearing from second year e-reward members. The last request  i could not do as it stated the survey did not support Internet explorer 8 and I needed a different browser. Still have only earned 428.30  since last Nov.. The prior year I did $200 in e-rewards to earn $100 cash.

Re: second year e-reward member

Are there community members who participated in e-rewards for a second year? I would like to hear from them and their experience, regarding survey, amount earned etc. This is my ninth month and I have earned $31. mostly by quick survrys,,, those that yield .25 -..50 cents. I don;t even receive one survey a month.

Re: second year e-reward member

When did you start to earn the 75. I am interested in the period of time. in my first year I earned $200 in e-rewards which gave me $100. Now I am in the 9th month of the second year and I don't get a survey once a month. This is after updating my profile, requesting the highest number of e-mails, and logging on twice a day to catch the survey. Most are quick surveys etc those that yield $.50 cents and less. I even check the account site incase things are there that have not come through yet.

Re: second year e-reward member

This year I ahve deposited $50.00 and have passed $75.00 towards my second deposit. All in the second year. Some weeks no surveys some weeks 10. Really varies.

Re: second year e-reward member

wada279, I'm in the same boat as you.  In 2008, I did lots of surveys and I think earned $200.  I believe I've only done 1 or 2 surveys in 2009. It's been frustrating but I have to agree with the other poster that it's because companies aren't spending as much money on market research. I'm just waiting it out and hope it picks back up when the economy does, because next to my  Upromise credit card, the E-rewards was my best source of savings.

Re: second year e-reward member

I will give it time , but my second year ends in dec and I have only earned $32.80 in e-rewards. So it doesn't look like i will reach the $50 mark to earn $20.
