Let BedBathandBeyond know they made a mistake stopping in store contributions

I see that BedBathandBeyond has decided to stop paying for in store purchases. Seems they want to make sure we have to pay shipping for our items. I sent them an email letting them know I will not pay them shipping nor will I shop in store without contributions. If enough of us do this maybe they will reconsider. Faint hope but hope at least. Send emails and call PLEASE.

I just realized that too. They at least did increase the online contributions to 2%, but like you, it's not worth it to me unless I can find some codes for free shipping. Too bad because this was basically the only brick & mortar store I could ever get contributions from.

I guess the good thing is that UPromise let us know about this before I made another trip over there.  I am also disappointed ~ it was the only brick & mortar store I could get any rewards from besides the grocery store.  I think they will find they made a bad decision ~ the extra 1% isn't going to cover the shipping in most cases..

I'm disappointed too.  Upromise needs to do a better job getting companies to sign up.  More products and resteraunts are leaving too.  I don't get much money at all anymore.  BB&B was one store I could count on to get a little.  Soon it won't be worth being a member of Upromise anymore.

Solution

I did some more research and we can buy gift cards on line at a 2% contribution and use them in the store. There is NO shipping charge if you use the USPS option. Guess I can make this work.

Let Eddie Bauer know they made a mistake discontinuing participation with online Upromise too.
