Just to start this fabulous first weekend of spring off right, here's 6 sales available from Upromise Online Shopping!
Get ready for spring and summer activities with Nike's sale, ending March 21st. Take 20% off select sunglasses and watches. You'll look stylish while you're workin' on your fitness.
Kohl's - home of my favorite line Simply Vera - is giving you coupon code NEW3422 so you can take 10% off any order - that's right, not one particular item, but your whole order. So, you can save a whole lot of dough on your spring wardrobe. This coupon code is only good through Sunday, March 22nd, so you'll have to act fast. This ELLE lace-trim henley is particularly cute, and comes in a variety of colors....and as much as I hate to admit it, I'm actually contemplating one of their swimsuits. And believe you me, I hate swimsuit shopping (as evidenced here) because, at 31, I still haven't learned to embrace my shape.
That said, since I have a nearly 10-year-old daughter that is already struggling with the pressures of "what girls should look like," I'm throwing on a swimsuit this summer and embracing it. Period.
JCPenney, which we just talked about the other day, will give you $10 off a $50 order, or $15 off $75, with coupon code HUGENESS; this offer expires March 22nd, but it means you can get some of those new celebrity lines for a little bit cheaper. Plus, I also noticed when I was browsing their website that they've got tons of specials going on, in addition to this coupon code. I think they might have spring fever.
Timberland, my hubs favorite store is helping you get ready for an active warm weather season by letting you take 30% off any order. Make sure you use coupon code OUTDOORS to rake in the savings. Again, it's only until March 22nd, but according to their website, they're also oferring free domestic ground shipping if you spend over $100. What a great time to try their line of organic footwear.
And finally, Victoria's Secret is having a massive sale!! Ordinarily, I have a hard time justifying the cost associated with shopping there, but they have slashed prices across the site, to the point that you'd be silly not to take advantage. So many sales are going on that I can't even list them all, but some of the highlights? Up to 75% off more than 2000 items in their clearance section, up to 50% off swimwear, and their fabulous tanks - both classic and redesigned styles - 20% off when you buy 2.
Enjoy the sales ladies and gentleman....and Happy Spring from me to you!

For several weeks, I've been seeing advertisements for the new look of JCPenney. Happy woman are dressed to the nine's riding in cabs and texting, or running through grassy fields laughing and skipping. It's pretty enticing - especially when you live in a state that is cold, gray, and snow covered at the moment. At this point, just about everything is exciting.
But I've been skeptical.
My only recollection of JCPenney involves over-crowded racks, sweaters made of flammable materials, and a shopping demographic that lands somewhere around mid-50's and up. To this day, my 85-year-old grandmother's favorite store to shop at is JCPenney. On the other hand, my 14-year-old sister also seems to really like it and any time I've ever gone shopping with her, I can't seem to get her out of there long enough to even score a cup of coffee at Starbuck's. So, I figured, maybe I should give it another shot.
JCPenney has partnered with several celebrity designers, much like other department stores such as Target and Kohl's, to offer cute lines at a fraction of the cost.
Probably the most popular one at the moment is theI (Heart) Ronson line by Charlotte Ronson. Putting her stamp on the fashion world with her first collection in 2000, she has quickly grown in popularity and continues to open niche boutiques around the globe. Her line for JCPenney is her own take on vintage American fashion and their partnership with her is a smart one as it will draw the younger teen and twenty-something demographic. Check out the I (Heart) Ronson Line.
Bisou Bisou is also another thumbs up in my book. Not only does the line offer some very casual-chic outfits, it also brings some adorable - and affordable! - maternity wear to the table. Let's face it, maternity wear has come a long way in terms of its stylish appeal, but the price is often time enough to make you re-think the purchase. The Bisou Bisou maternity line lets you be stylish without breaking the bank.
And, personally, I happen to think that this maxi dress is stunning. Now if I were only tall enough to wear it.....moving on!!
Allen B. has some serious sassiness going on as well. This Dip Dye top is perfect for the transitional season between spring and summer, and it's got that ever-so-sexy v-neck. Love it! And I really like the Pieced-Pocket Jean that they have it paired with.
And how about Nicole Miller? She's been with JCPenney's for quite some time and has always created lines that were very tempting. This time around, she has women's tops that are full of print and color - very fitting for the season. Myself, I'm not often found in such brazen shirts, but it doesn't mean that you can't wear them. Confidence is key, and when you feel you can rock it, you usually do.
I love the look of this tunic, but would really need to try it on to see if it flatters my shorter stature. That's the hard part about this new boho-chic look, if I’m not careful, I run the risk of looking like a beached whale. Not pretty. This Trapeze Top on the other hand, I can totally rock, but I'm not sure if the print will agree with me. We shall see.
It sounds like a trip to JCPenney.com is in order, doesn't it?
