Women and Shoes......

Do you think it's an uncontrollable sickness?  Or a happy love affair?bella.jpg

I think that it's something different for every woman out there; for me, it's a happy love affair.

What with all the hype around the Sex and The City movie, the shoes, the fashion, and the fact that Sarah Jessica Parker might just be my favorite celebrity, I thought it might be high time for me to do a little post about shoes.  But instead of posting my favorites, I thought I might instead, lead you through a little tour of my favorite shoe stores available through the Upromise shopping mall.

So, in no particular order, here are my top three.

Zappos: You know them, you love them. Zappos rocks my socks!

They boast about a gazillion different shoes (no, exaggeration here), plus clothes.  A 365-day return policy and free shipping both ways!  You would have to be one exceptional individual if you looked at that policy and weren't incredibly satisfied already.

And, did you know that they also have specialty sites now?  Couture anyone?  Just clicking on the couture link nearly left me breathless.  With shoes and gear from Furla, Juicy, Giuseppe Zanotti, and Isabella Fiore, you can't go wrong.  Of course, you may not be able to buy groceries for a week or three, but hey, they're shoes!!  Plus, you get 5% in college savings; it almost justifies that $800 pair of patent leather Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, doesn't it?

Endless Shoes and Handbags: The name says it all.

I almost don't feel as though I need to elaborate here.  If you're a living, breathing female, you love both shoes and handbags, even just a little bit.  Even if you adamantly deny that you care if you carry a cute bag, you truly do; you just haven't recognized it yet.

They too carry some big-hitting names, but you won't find any shoes for $800.  $350, maybe, but not $800.  However, their variety is amazing and they've got a great selection, from dress-me-up shoes and leopard print flats, to whimsical clogs like these Birki's, which by the way, could be your very own "back-to-school" gift to yourself, they've got you covered.

They also boast a 110% price guarantee, free overnight shipping, free return shipping, and a whopping 6% savings for college.  I'm pretty sure I'm doing some serious shoe shopping in the very near future at this store.

ShoeBuy.com: The largest online retailer of shoes for the whole family

OK, I'll be the first to admit, this site is not necessarily eye-candy heavy.  In fact, compared to the other two, it's pretty darn plain.  But, there's a reason I love it.  It offers free shipping, free returns, a 110% price guarantee, and, wait......are you sitting down?  10% in college savings!  Can you believe that?

On top of all that, they carry Gucci, Fendi, Dior, Prada, D&G, and a host of other luxe brands. While the styles might not be what was just on the runway this spring, they're still only last season.  And let's be honest, how many people can tell the difference between this seasons black pump and last season's?  Very few.

That said, they've got lots of basics from Tommy, Sketchers, Timberland, and Rockport that will suit the whole family, and leave room for not only groceries, but maybe even dinner out!

Enjoy your window shopping...
