Hello!

Let me apologize right off the bat, because this first post might be a tad longer than you’re used to reading in terms of the online world.  That said, I feel like, if you’re going to spend some time reading this fashion blog, you should probably get to know who’s behind it. 

 

My name is Stacie.  I’m a busy parent, like many of you.  When I’m not running a car pool, attending a swim meet, or chaperoning a field trip, I’m tripping over two dogs and playing the role of doting spouse to my better half.  Ah, yes, and I’m a fashion writer.

 

Sounds glamorous, doesn’t it?

 

Well, it’s not always Louis and Louboutin, but it is pretty fabulous most of the time.  I enjoy keeping my eyes peeled for trends, sales, and staples that no person’s closet should be without.  Then I write about it for clients all over the world. 

 

While I still make the occasional run to Starbucks in my bunny slippers, I basically get paid to live, breath, and die a fashionable life. Better yet, I can do it without worrying whether or not my rent-controlled apartment will soon be turned in to condos.

 

I believe that looking good makes you feel and appear more confident; I don’t think your family should have to eat leftovers for a week just so you can make it happen.  Which is why Upromise brought me on board - to share my thoughts not only on fashion and trends, but to give you a gentle push in the direction of a good deal.  With any luck, you’ll be running Saturday errands in clothes that are both fashionable and comfortable in no time.
