Affordable Fashion: Have You Seen mark. Lately?

Avon has a stigma; I’ll be the first to admit it.  Blue eye shadow, too much blush, catalogs on doors.....I know, I know.......

But have you seen the mark. line?  It’s amazing.  It’s affordable.  It gives you 5% in college savings.

So, what exactly does fashion from a skin care company look like?  Let me show you.

I just got this bag yesterday, and I was immediately smitten with it.  It’s roomy, soft, and it’s faux-patent leather, but you can’t tell.  PETA’s happy, big-purse lovers are happy, leather lovers are happy; it’s win-win all around!

Literally, I cannot tell you how much you can get in here.  Use it as a diaper bag.  Use it for a day shopping. Take it to work and put your notebooks, files, your laptop and your lunch in it; I’m not kidding, it’s really that roomy!

The “Stick With Me” earrings and the “Branch Out Bracelet” are also stunning.  I bought mine in silver, but I’m guessing that the gold is great too.

Finish it off with the “Island Escape Tank” and these sunglasses you’ll be good to go!  The color of the tank is a very muted teal, the fabric is exceptionally soft, and it’s very comfortable.  I’ve worn it at least once a week since I bought it.

So, that’s it.  Fashion from a skin care company!  I will also tell you that the skin care line is really, really good - especially for sensitive skin.

If you’ve previously been an Avon fan, but fallen out of love with it in recent years, give it another shot.  And if you’ve got teenagers, the mark line will be a definite hit; trust me.

AVON...........A STIGMA????

Well you haven't seen Avon in many many years. And I doubt you have received a brochure in your door.

I have been a rep for about 7+ years and am a very fashion forward cosmetologist and mom. Avon actually is a strong company for Women which crusades for B. cancer(wow that's sad when that word is considered profanity and can't be posted) and women's rights against domestic violence. But also is the leader in all the cutting edge skin care which gets copied by all the more expensive brands.

I buy a lot of their clothing and their makeup etc. I can buy anywhere since I can by wholesale. But I love Avon for their prices, their dedication to women, they way they treat their reps, and their policies. So please give it a try. It's an American company that's been around for about 100 years.

One Stylin' Mom ~

I love your comment, thank you! And yes, you're right, Avon is a great company for women. In fact, my bathroom is right stocked full of their products.

However, one thing I've found with many of my friends (in the 25-35 age group) is a major wrinkle of the nose when they see them sitting there. To them, Avon is meant for "old ladies."

That said, I wanted to make it known, loud and clear, that Avon is not "just for old ladies," and that they have also branched out in their offerings. I'm sure that as time goes on, we'll see much more of Avon gracing this blog.

Warm Regards ~
Stacie
