$4 in Upromise Savings with Service Magic

Lately, I've seen several commercials for Service Magic on TV and wanted to let you all know that Service Magic is a Upromise partner.  They connect homeowners to pre-screened service providers, free of charge. They provide you with a selection of licensed and insured customer-rated service professionals that do anything from cleaning and remodeling to roofing and carpentry.

You can get $4 in your Upromise account simply by making a service request - no purchase necessary.  It's an easy way to earn money in your Upromise account and a great source for finding experienced, qualified workers for your home improvement needs.

Visit http://www.upromise.com/servicemagic for more details.

I've used their services twice now; once when we needed new windows, and then this past spring when we needed a new garage door!  It was quite helpful (plus the Upromise savings was a nice little bonus too!)

Re: $4 in Upromise Savings with Service Magic

I used there service once this year to get our chimney cleaned.  3 professionals contacted with services offered and pricing.  I ended up choosing someone else recommended by a relative that was more competitive in price.  And I still received the $4.00 contribution.

Thanks for the timely post, I need a few things done around the house, is it $4 every time you choose a service or is it a one time deal?

Re: $4 in Upromise Savings with Service Magic

luntaos - The way I read it, I take it to say that you can get $4 for each service request that you make through the Upromise website to ServiceMagic... up to 3 requests within a 30 day period.  And also keep in mind, that you won't receive contributions on duplicate requests (meaning that if you've already gotten $4 for requesting service providers for garage doors, than later do it again, you won't get another $4.)

If you type in ServiceMagic in the search link, and then click on Merchant Details, there will be another link for complete details or something like that to explain the "fine print".
