Which Schools Do Not Require the SATs?

My son is currently studying for the SATs. But just in case it doesn't go well, I'm looking for schools that don't require the exam. Do you know of any colleges in the north east that do not have SATs as a requirement?

I don't have a specific list of schools, but you may find some useful information at this site:

I hope that helps.

Most community colleges do not require SATs and they are a great starting ground for students that are not ready for that big step. And even better it is cheaper.

Many schools now will accept either the SAT, or the ACT. You should have your son take both. You should also remember that the SATs are only a small part of the application/admission process. They are actually the last thing that most admission counselors look at. Good luck with your son's experience. You should also be looking at the Barron's Guide, the Princeton Review, and Kaplan Guide to colleges and universities. Look for scholarship money at fastweb.com
