In 18 years, a degree from a public school will cost around $200,000 and a private university will run closer to $400,000, according to the College Board, which administers the SAT standardized college admissions test.

The cost 18 years from now (or even today) is definitely a scary prospect, particularly as my wife and I are expecting our third child.  But the the article has some interesting tips.  Thanks very much for sharing it with us.

 

By the way, Sallie Mae is holding a Saving for College Video Contest.  Grand prize is $5,000 plus other prizes as well.  Hey, ya never know.
