question re avon

I'm new to uPromise and am a bit confused.  I downloaded the turbosaver.  When I opened the Avon webpage, it told me I could save 5%.  Cool!  I made a purchase, used my registered card, and haven't seen a credit to my account.

When I searched for info on Avon here, I'm CONFUSED.  Under the merchant details, it says:

Does NOT offer college saving when you buy online, pick up in store

Does NOT require payment with a registered card to receive your college savings

Does NOT offer college savings on orders delivered by a Representative (Direct Delivery through a Representative's store is honored.)

How do I get savings if I can't buy online?  What am I missing?

Re: question re avon

I assume you're getting tripped up on the first point. Some stores like Best Buy and Walmart allow to order items online and then you can go into the store to pick it up instead of shipping it to your house.

I've never ordered from Avon, but I assume that isn't even an option with them, so no need to worry there.

has it been at least six weeks since you ordered? If so, click on the help link in the top left corner and submit a request for a missing contribution and give them the order number from your receipt (always keep your receipts until items post).

Re: question re avon

I use avon all the time and I do not have any problems the money posts in about  1 week! I would fill out the missing contribution request if it has been a while.

I read the

Does NOT offer college saving when you buy online, pick up in store

but it always gives me the percentage. It should have worked weird. Good luck keep trying to save and it will come around.

Good Luck

Re: question re avon

Hi,

I haven't had my last 2 avon orders post to my account. Same thing with McDonald's. I used the Help link for missing McDonald contributions and got no reply. Is anyone else having the same issues?

Thanks,

B

Re: question re avon

Bumblebee - instead of using the help links, you need to fill out the online form for missing contributions.  They will research the missing contributions then and get back to you on what they came up with.
