Exxon / Mobil

I have started to use my Upromise card for gas again and figured that I would take advantage of the current 4% offer.  Also, figured I would do a little research on how long it would take for the bonus to post.  After, reading old messages regarding issues with XOM contirbutions, I checked my history for XOM on my Uprom CC back in 2008 and noticed XOM never gave me the bonus for any month!  The only thing I received was the $0.01 per gallon.  Hopefully, it will be different this year, I'll keep track of my purchases starting October 2009.

 

Anyone else still having issues with XOM?

My Mobil purchases (no more Exxons left in my area) post pretty quickly.  Of course, you do have to wait for that 20 gallon / month minimum before anything posts, but looking at my account right now, I have a purchase from October 16th that posted as pending October 24th.

 

The bonus that you'll get from using the UPromise credit card will come separately (usually after the regular 1% has posted as pending).  Also, I think I read somewhere on here that the additional 4% bonus will also come separately....

Got my fingers crossed for now.  Like I said, I didn't received the bonus for those seven months in 2008.  The 20 gallon mark is easy since my wife drives a SUV/crossover, that thing is a 23 gallon fill up weekly.
