Auto services...

How about Toyota - its service and maintenance department as well as its sales.

How about Midas and Monroe Mufflers?

How about Dunn Tire?

Re: Auto services...

RxLady, your suggestions about auto service and providers such as Midas are excellent.  Our business development team has been working with a number of companies in this space about joining Upromise.  I'll be sure to post information if and when more news becomes available.

Thanks,

Jeff

Re: Auto services...

The Toyota suggestion only makes sense if you believe that auto buyers care more about price/savings then style, features, and performance.  Seems to me if this was the case there would me a lot more Kias, and Daewoos on the road, not to mention Chevys and Fords (which offer huge rebates to customers). It doesn't make sense for a manufacturer to discount something you are going to buy anyway.  The same argument goes for service and maintenance, why incentivize spending you are going to get anyway.

Midas and Monroe make more sense.  They are both bidding to get customers away from dealerships, and each other, so they should be more willing to use price discounting tactics.

Re: Auto services...

When I 1st singed up with Upromise Pepboys was a member giving a percentage of sales to your

account and was able to get almost $5.00 for tire purchases. Right after I got that from Pepboys

they quit Upromise. We need a place for new tires and services to your vehicles. That is something

every household is going to need and purchase, it would be wonderful to get a percentage saved for

college!

Re: Auto services...

I bet if we the comsumers and Upromise pooled together, we could be a bigger force to get companies to join and take part in this wonderful program!!!!!!!

I would send an e-mail or letter for a request to join!

Re: Auto services...

I recomend asking Discount Tire if they are interested.  I work for them at the Mt Prospect store in Illinois.
