Getting Local Businesses to Join Upromise

Could Upromise design a down-loadable message the size of a comment card that we could print and give to local businesses that we would like to join? I have tried sending emails and letters to stores and received no acknowledgement.

For example, this past year I downloaded a card from the Humane Society's website that I gave to the manager of my grocery store. The card asked the store to stop carrying items from Canada until they banned the seal hunts. It also said I would make a point of not buying any products made in Canada.

How about having a card directing the business to the Upromise site. Included on the card could be a statement that I make a point of giving my business to stores/restaurants/etc that are in the Upromise program. I would gladly distribute cards if they were available. If stores received these cards from us, maybe they would give Upromise more consideration.

That's a good idea I would totally pass those out I believe if they made us something like that we could rally together as a community and convince companies to join!!

Great Idea there is the Idea Exchange Forum for great idea's such as this!!!

I like that idea too.  I belong to several business networking organizations in Southwest Florida and would be able to spread the word.  I also promoted Upromise in my monthly Mortgage by Randy newsletter earlier this year.

Thanks to all for this suggestion and comments about getting businesses to join the program.  I agree, it's a great idea and will be considered by the team here.
