I love Sierra Trading Post, where you'll find deep discounts on clothing, shoes, outdoor gear and more for the whole family. Right now, take an extra 20% off the highest priced item in your cart with coupon code ALVJULY9 through August 6. Excludes current sale items and clearance items. Even so, you should definitely check out the clearance and sale items, since right now there's a big "Slash and Burn Sale" going on right now, where already low prices have been TevaSTP.pngreduced by another 20% to 30%.

MSB pick: Teva Hurricane 2 sandals for kids and youth are just $19.95. They'll be $15.96 with the coupon. You'll find other offerings from Teva as well.

5 Smart Sources for School Uniforms

Buying school uniforms this year? They make getting dressed in the morning a breeze, but finding the best place to buy them can be overwhelming. I've compared prices, selection and shipping rates at several online sources for school uniforms. Here are my top five picks:

FrenchToast.com: School uniforms are khakis.pngFrenchToast.com's business. They're America's best-selling brand of school uniforms, and their website is easy to navigate. Use the "Express Shopping" search box to find your school's preferred styles. Sizes 2T - 20, including slim and plus sizes. Get free ground shipping with a $75 purchase. Earn 5% cash back for your school with every order placed. Upromise savings: 2%. Price of khaki pants for elementary boys: about $13 to $16.

Sears.com: carries Dockers and Lands End brand uniform items as well as French Toast items. Dockers pants are regularly $24.99, but I'm seeing them on sale right now for $14.99. Sizes 4-20. Spend $50 on clothing, shoes and accessories and get free standard UPS shipping through 8/29. Upromise savings: 2%. Price of khaki pants for elementary boys: $14.99 and up.

childrensplace.pngChildrensPlace.com: Nice selection. Uniform pants at TCP run $14.50. Sizes 4-14. $5 flat-rate standard shipping. Upromise savings: 3%. Price of khaki pants for elementary boys: $14.50.

Walmart.com: Pick up a two-pack of George brand boys' school uniform khakis for $24. Standard shipping for these is .97 per item. Many uniform items sold in two-packs. Sizes 4-16 (XS to 2X). Upromise savings: 1%.  Price of khaki pants for elementary boys: about $12.

Target.com: Get free standard shipping when you spend $50. Sizes 4-16, including girls' plus and boys' husky sizes. Upromise savings: 2%. Price of khaki pants for elementary boys: about $12.99 to $14.99.

The Bottom Line: Predictably, prices on uniform items are lowest at Walmart and Target, though the selection is spotty. The Children's Place's combination of selection, price and low shipping rate makes it a smart choice. For ease of shopping, FrenchToast.com can't be beat.
