register cards

I have used Upromise, but not very much. I would love to use Upromise for just about everything. My question is can I register grocery cards that don't appear in the list? I have a Market Basket card and do 95% of my shopping there, but this card does not appear on the list. Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately you can only register those cards on the list. Not all grocery stores track for contributions.

But, if I am using a registered debit/credit card then I should get the savings, right?

No.

Grocery & drug store savings are tracked using the store's loyalty card, not any card you may have registered with Upromise - you should be able to get credit at a participating grocery even if you pay cash.

To add to this question...Why do they ask you to register your debit/credit card if you can only get credit from a stores loyalty card and or your citi upromise card?

In the context of Grocery & Drug stores, credit/debit card registration doesn't do anything for you; however, there are a number of earning opportunities with Upromise that do get tracked by using registered cards, such as offline shopping, dining, and Exxon-Mobil gas.

I would agree with navy85. Debit/Credit cards can be tracked for online purchases and certain retailers like Bed Bath Beyond and Mobil/Exxon whereas grocery cards track our qualified purchases there.

What I'm having a problem with is knowing which company is bailing from the program. I used to buy a lot of items from "The Children's Place". Now i've noticed they no longer participate, as well as Coke? So I guess Pepsi doesn't either? So i'm wasting my time giving my husband this card to swipe and then wondering when the rewards are going to show up,and they never will. I actually had a suspicion. So I looked it up and couldn't find it listed anymore.

Does anyone know of an area to alert us of companies that have left the program? That would be so helpful too. I guess I should install the toolbar. I guess I answered my own question. I would like to see it in print though, when these contracts will end. I order a lot from Old Navy, Macy's etc. I also use Ebay. I would like to be prepared if they are going to pull out. I will be really bummed if Mobil does leave since they are my biggest contributer so far.

If you go to Earn on the top toolbar and click on All Partner Companies, you will see a link to Recent Program Changes (http://www.upromise.com/viewAllCompanies.do?cx=l2#CHANGES).

What happens if your store doesn't have a shopper's card? I shop at Stater Bros. and they no longer use the card. Will I still earn?
