Mail in reciepts?

I do my shopping at the Commissary (military stores) because it's cheaper.  I have 6 children, so I shop on average once a wk spending easily $250-$300 for a family of 8.  I clip coupons and occassionally shop at Albertsons.  Can I send in reciepts to get the rewards?  Or do I have to shop at a specific grocery store?

Only specific grocery stores (and you need to sign up for their loyalty cards and register them) participate in Upromise, and only certain products as well.  Youc an find the participating stores/products under the grocery section of the Upromise website.

Re: Mail in reciepts?

Rosemary,

As a military member myself, I contacted the commissary to find out if they would/could participate with UPromise.  I was told no.  The reason being it would cost the commissary money for us to get a rebate, and then they would have to increase their prices.  The only way to shop at the commissary and earn money with UPromise is with the BoA Credit Card through UPromise.  Then you'd get 1% of your purchases back.  I actually use the Chase card affiliated with services and earn points back with I can later turn into money.  I take that money and give it to my daughter for her college expenses.
