Ecoupon Contribution Inquiry Form Problems

Has anybody else had this problem for months on end now?

I am missing ecoupon contributions into my Upromise account, so I waited the 4 months to inquire about the missing ecoupon redemptions.  But, when I go to fill put the form, and submit it, it tells me that I need to correct some invalid characters.  I erase every comma, period, dollar sign, everything that is not an alphabetical letter, and it STILL tells me that there are invalid characters on my contribution inquiry form.  So, the only thing I can figure is that it is the checkmark that you place in the list to signify which ecoupon/s I'm inquiring about, but it won't let me NOT check a box!

ARGHHH!

And this has been an ongoing problem with the contributions inquiry forms for months now!  I have seen other posts by users frustrated with this online form, and the reply is always that they will work on it... but it hasn't been fixed for an easy 3-4 months now?  Can't the IT team figure out what is wrong, or correct the program so that we can get these forms filled out?  It's bad enough that you have to save your receipts for FOUR months to ask about a missing contribution when everything else on the receipt posted just fine FOUR months ago, but then to have no way to inquire about where your missing contributions are is worse!

Re: Ecoupon Contribution Inquiry Form Problems

[ Edited ]

Hey, TessaG, I'm so glad you posted this. I've had the very same problems with those awful inquiry forms. When I complained about it online to customer service, they emailed me to let me know that my issue was "not a universal problem" & that the forms work just fine for other Upromise members! However, they did also offer me the option of emailing my missing contribution inquiries, if the miserable online forms don't work for me. Well, I guess that's one way to work around it.

My advice is to contact customer service directly & refer them to these message boards, where there are plenty of us venting among the various topics about this very same issue. Maybe if they see enough people speaking out about the problem, Upromise will take it seriously & fix these dreaded forms. Hopefully Jeff or one of the other moderators will see this & jump in to help, as well. Good luck!

Re: Ecoupon Contribution Inquiry Form Problems

I have had the exact same issue. I wish it were comforting to know I'm not alone. I'll try to contact customer service as another poster suggested, though that's a call I'm not looking forward to. And all for a lousy $0.75. But where does one draw the line?

ATTN UPROMISE: Please fix this! I'm rapidly losing faith in your service and I gather many others are too.

Re: Ecoupon Contribution Inquiry Form Problems

All, I'm terribly sorry about the experience you're having with the missing contribution form.  I'm working with a team on this, but it's likely this will take some time to fix.  For now, that's a good suggestion from mrsbandme.  Please contact customer care via email on the following page:

I'll be sure to post back on the boards once the form is fixed.

Thanks.  And again, I'm sorry for this frustrating experience.

Re: Ecoupon Contribution Inquiry Form Problems

All, I'm told that the issue with the eCoupon contribution inquiry form is to be fixed on or around 11/12.  Again, I'm sorry for the problems this has caused.

If you'd like to check on a contribution before this is corrected, please do so here:

Re: Ecoupon Contribution Inquiry Form Problems

Still not fixed.  I missed this thread before I submitted another form just saying I'd be glad to forward the receipt via email (with some frustration vented as well).  I've had success with this in the past, so fingers crossed it'll work again.

Thanks, Jeff, for keeping us posted.  It's much appreciated.

Re: Ecoupon Contribution Inquiry Form Problems

Yes, I'm sorry it's still not functioning properly. Unfortunately this is taking much longer than expected.  I'll be sure to announce here once it's fixed.  But for now, please email your eCoupon inquiries to customercare@upromise.com with all of the relevant information.

Thanks all.

Re: Ecoupon Contribution Inquiry Form Problems

The inquiry form that gave me problems wasn't the eCoupons form (I've never used that one). Instead, I had the exact same problems with the Online Contributions inquiry form. I thought all of the Upromise programs used the same form, but with different subject headings.

I had to submit an inquiry form a little while ago for my missing McDonald's contribution & I'm pleased to report that it went right through without a hitch or a hassle. I don't know if this means all of the forms will work, but it seems like progress.

Re: Ecoupon Contribution Inquiry Form Problems

Apparently, I spoke too soon. I just had to resubmit my McDonald's inquiry (I guess I sent it in a little too soon the first time) & guess what? The form isn't working again! This would almost be too funny if I weren't so very aggravated right now! :smileymad:
