Credit card use...why is $ not showing on account?

I use my credit cards for everything and when I shop at the grocery stores, I use my store savings cards. Why is my balance the same today as it was a month ago?

Re: Credit card use...why is $ not showing on account?

Using your CCs really don't do anything, unless they are registered and validated by UPromise, then it only gives you points when you use it with participating restaurants. If you are shopping, you need to sign on to UPromise and use their links to go to the merchant and make your purchases so UProm can track you. If you prefer shopping at a brick and mortar, you need to go through the UProm links and purchase gift cards for that store. Store savings cards also need to be registered and validated, you should also double check to make sure the merchant is not blocking potential info that UPromise needs to track your purchases as well. It takes some changes, but personally, I have made the adjustment and do most of my shopping online. I purchase gift cards for brick and mortars that my wife shops at. Sometimes, she'll even shop and make the purchases on her iPhone while she is standing in front of the product. I only learned to use UPromise the right way recently and the points have been racking up quickly. Happy hunting!

Re: Credit card use...why is $ not showing on account?

I have th same problem.

1. my Grocery cards are correct and validated since SEPTEMBER and I go grocery shopping every weekend.

2. It ONLY shows like 2 purchases. One at a restaurant and another time when I updated my virus protection online.

So since September - $4.26

What's going on? i looked at my account and NOTHING looks wrong but nothign shows.

Daniel, when you do your grocery shopping, are you buying the participating products in the correct sizes?

Have you been making your online purchases through the UPromise website (or with the Turbosaver toolbar installed)?

You only get earnings on certain products from certain partners, not everything.  I don't use anything from the e-coupons, but I get a few cents here and there for baby food from Stop and Shop and a few cents from CVS every so often.  Most of my bulk shopping is done at BJ's and they aren't participating.

Ya I'm just now reading all the fine print and clikign all these links.

The grocery list seems kinda MEHHHH. It's all junk food or weird things like the beverages are only orange juice. OJ is great but to pay more for a brand name to get a few cents back seems like I rather buy the store brand and save actual dollars.Vons store OJ brand is like $1.25 cheaper!!!

LOL - that's just my experience with this.

I think you save more in better ways online than with this program's groceries.

Re: Credit card use...why is $ not showing on account?

I agree.  It does seem like the groceries were better before I joined and they've been slowly dwindling since... there's very few things I qualify for and I do most of my shopping at BJ's anyway.  The idea of the program is to save money... altering your shopping habits to buy something more expensive (after the contribution is factored in) doesn't make sense.  But, if you were going to buy it anyway, it makes perfect sense.

Online shopping is really the way to go for me, but it depends on who the person is... if a person eats out a lot, the restaurant contributions could be very helpful, if you're a frequent online shopper, than again the program could be very helpful.

Well i bought 1800flowers for my mom and then i bought some stuff from gap.com on Black Friday. Now the test is to wait and see the savings....if it actually goes through.

If it goes through, I'll be over spending probably. LOL
