Re: E-Rewards

[ Edited ]

e-Rewards is free money.  Yes, you have to invest some time, but it's up to you whether the payout is worth it.  If you wait until you reach $100 you'll get $50 Upromise dollars, so the return is better.

Personally, I like free money.  I hit $100 doing probably only 5 hours of surveys.  Yes, that's less than I make per hour at my normal job, but I can take surveys while watching TV or on my lunch break, so the money's worth it to me.

Re: E-Rewards

I've tried to sign up for the e-rewards through the link on this message board, but the page just won't load for me.  Anyone else having these problems?  I also got an email from upromise for the invite to do it and it wouldn't load either.  I kept getting a message saying the board was down.

I already have an e-rewards account so I'll have to put a different email address on it, but sure wish I could transfer over the money I already have in that account!  Now I just want to get my account set up through upromise so I can get that ball rolling again.  I'll stop the surveys on the other account.

thanks for any help!

Just a warning

I have been doing Erewards for a year now and had an unpleasant surprise. I received surveys quite regularly at the beginning and was saving for the $100 reward since it was the best deal (50%). I was within a few dollars of my goal and getting very few surveys by that point. What I hadn't realized, since I did not carefully read the fine print was that after a year 75% of your savings are removed. This is done without warning - no little note email saying that they are about to remove the earnings from your account -use it or lose type thing. I hate to think that it was perfectly obvious that I was going for the $100 mark and therefore didn't receive the surveys needed to make it, but I can't help but be suspicious. Word of warning - keep your anniversary date in mind and take the reward before you lose out. By the way My Survey points don't expire, you can get cash and that cash can be saved for college!

Re: Just a warning

Hello Donna2417,

I'm sorry to hear that you lost some of your e-Rewards Currency.   However, I wanted to chime in to let you and other e-Rewards panelists know that e-Rewards sends an email to all panelists whose currency is going to expire the following month to encourage them to either take a survey or update their profile.  Either of these actions would prevent currency from expiring.  Please keep this in mind for next year!

Re: Just a warning

Dear Michelle,

My calendar year should have ended December 31st, 2008 based on the information at Erewaeds. I assure you - I recieved no notice in November or December of impending loss of reward funds.

Re: Just a warning

Donna,

I would recommend that you contact e-Rewards directly and tell them of your situation.  They have been known to be accomodating in situations like this.  You can contact them at info@e-rewards.com.  You will want to email them from the email account you have on file with them as it will make it easier to look into your account.  Good luck!

Re: E-Rewards

I agree. I have spent several hours in erewards market surveys and the contributions to Upromise are in my opinion not worth the time.  SurveySavvy.com is a company that I believe pays far better for survey participations. Which Upromise would reach out to them.

Re: E-Rewards

Hi,

I've not received a survey in about two or three weeks. Has anyone else experienced the same?

Re: E-Rewards

Sometimes awhile will pass before I get some surveys and other times I'll get a bunch at a time.

Log into your account though and see if there's anything that you can do - make sure you're set to receive the most surveys and see if there are any other questions that you can answer about yourself to make you eligible for more surveys.
