Yes, it is. They don't even offer TurboSaver for my browser and/or operating system. They could easily check this and not push TurboSaver in my face on the website.  I've heard lots of people having problems with TurboSaver not catching legitimate uPromise purchases/earnings, too. Maybe they should fix those problems before they ask everyone to install it.

Re: Isn't is annoying how upormise keeps telling you to install Turbo Saver.

We have the Turbosaver installed, but yet UPromise keeps asking us to install it still!

Also, with it installed, I can say that it slows our computer down SIGNIFICANTLY... and we've even had to shut our computer down and restart it before because of problems that the Turbosaver causes with "bogging" our computer down.

And, I agree, it doesn't catch all of your purchases; so we ALWAYS start at Upromise to do any online shopping anyway, have Turbosaver installed, and we STILL end up with 3-4 missing contributions monthly!!!

So, I would have to agree, really what is the point?

Re: Isn't is annoying how upormise keeps telling you to install Turbo Saver.

Thanks for your feedback.  We are constantly looking to make Turbosaver and the whole Upromise experience better and easier for our members to use. With that, I’d like to address some of the issues you all have posted here.

1)    TurboSaver Partners: not all partners provide contributions through Turbosaver.  Currently, the following Upromise online shopping partners are not compatible TurboSaver: eBay.com, Express, InterContinental Hotels, and Overstock.  For these partners you must go through Upromise.com to get the contributions.  The best bet to make sure you receive contribution from a site it pay attention to the drop-down notification bar that appears when you visit a Upromise partner.  If you see a “congratulations,” and a green light you are all set, but if not you should go to upromise.com and make sure they are an active partner.

2)    We do advertise heavily on our site and through emails because we want to make sure that as many members take advantage of Turbosaver as possible. Customer research we’ve conducted has shown that most people are unaware of TurboSaver, and those who use it, love it.  So we want to spread the word and make our customers happy.

3)    If you are experiencing problems with Turbosaver, Customer Care has recently set up an option for them to help. If you call Customer Care (1-888-434-9111) there is a brand new menu option for our team to directly address any issues with Turbosaver.   Just give us a ring.

4)    Lastly, if at any time you believe you have missing contributions, Customer Care would love to help. Just fill out a missing contribution form on upromise.com (https://lty.s.upromise.com/displayServlet?su=8123) and the research team can get to the bottom of it.

When can I expect my browser and operating system to be supported?

Can we get a "please don't show me this again" box to check?  I know about it, I don't want it, and I hate having to close it everytime it pops up.  I am a consistant user of this site and am tired of the box.

Great idea, littlefoot777! I'd love to see that option offered, too. You might want to post this suggestion on the "Idea Exchange: How can we improve this community?" message board. I really hope Upromise will take your idea & give us this option on all of their advertising.

Hi erinspice.  I apologize if you've posted this previously.  But what browser and operating system are you using?
