a bit confused

Hello.

 

I'm new to Upromise & was wondering if I had this correct.

 

So in order to get my rewards, I must shop through upromise & use my registred debit card. Correct?

 

How does the dining out work?  I just use the debit card I registered here with Upromise or is their some sort of Upromise card I have to use?  & this is automatic?  I just have to make sure the restaurant is a partner, go there, eat, use my registered debit card & i'm good?

 

I downloaded the little toolbar & whenever I go to a site from which I can earn rewards, like TigerDirect, it pops out.  I can just click it & I can get my rewards or do I ALWAYS have to go THROUGH upromise?

 

I'd appreciate any help. I've read the FAQs & browsed some other posts but it didn't answer all my questions. Thanks in advance!  Judy

REF DINING OUT. IF YOU HAVE THE UPROMISE CREDIT CARD YOU WILL EARN AN EXTRA 10% ON TOP OF THE OTHER EARNINGS. IF YOU DO NOT, AND YOU USE YOUR REGULAR CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD THAT IS REGISTERED UNDER YOUR ACCOUNT WITH UPROMISE YOU WILL EARN THE PERCENTAGE THE RESTAURANT IS OFFERING (EX: 4%). CHECK AND MAKE SURE THE PARTICULAR RESTAURANT YOU ARE DINING AT DOES NOT HAVE RESTRICTION BEFORE YOU GO. SOME RESTAURANTS ONLY GIVE SAVINGS ON TUES,THURS,FRI AND IF YOU DINE THERE ON SAT YOU WILL NOT GET ANY REWARDS.

 

IF THE NEW TOOLBAR IS LIKE THE OLD ONE, IT AUTOMATICALLY RECOGNIZES YOU AND YOU WILL GET CREDIT FOR ANY QUALIFIED PURCHASE. YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO VISIT UPROMISE FIRST.
