What's Up With McDonald's?

[ Edited ]

I bought 2 new Arch cards & reloaded another one during the September Bonus month, but only 2 of the 3 cards have posted contributions. What's up with that? All 3 cards are registered & validated in my Upromise profile, so I know that's not the problem. The dates of the loads/reload are all listed there, as well.

It's still too early to file an inquiry (assuming the correct waiting period is 60 days), so my questions are:

1. Is there still a chance that that third contribution will show up before it becomes necessary to file a missing contribution inquiry? (It just seems odd that only 2 of the 3 have posted so far.)

2. Has anyone else had this happen & how did it turn out?

Re: What's Up With McDonald's?

Hi. I work at Upromise and mange the McDonald's program. It is very strange that you saw 2 of the 3 contributions post if you had valid transactions on all 3 cards. You do need to wait for the correct time period and then submit a contribution inquiry. In the mean time, I will look into this and see if there are any behind-the-scenes problems going on. I also haven't heard of this happening to anyone else but will keep my eyes and ears open. Thanks for being a dedicated Upromise member and McDonald's shopper.

Re: What's Up With McDonald's?

Hi DedicatedDad, thanks for your reply. I thought it was strange, too, since McDonald's has always been one of the most reliable & quickest-to-post merchants in my previous experiences with them. I really appreciate your looking into this for me & look forward to any info you can provide. Hopefully, my contribution just took the "scenic route," & will show up before I have to fill out the dreaded inquiry form, lol.

Re: What's Up With McDonald's?

Just an update on my previous post: My contribution still hasn't shown up, so I just submitted a missing contribution inquiry form. Thankfully, the form went right through, so now I have to wait for them to track down the contribution.

Sorry you had to deal with that but it does sometimes happen. We looked into any issues with McDonald's and couldn't find any. Keep your eyes open during December for another big promotion...
