I read about this elsewhere but modified it a little, reflecting my tax rate and a cheaper filler item I found. I think this is an AWESOME deal that Upromise members should get in on if they can! Please vote for me if you agree!
Go to Staples.com using Upromise's link to activate 5% cash back. You'll notice that Upromise lists a coupon code for Staples, 27083, that's good for $75 off a $290+ purchase.
Search for the following item numbers and add them to your cart:
757768 - Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 (3-User) for $70.00
759786 - TurboTax Deluxe w/State & E-File 2008 for $49.99
742884 - Webroot Spyware w/Antivirus (1-3 User) for $49.99
740128 - Staples 8-Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder for $49.99
718509 - Microsoft Live OneCare v.2.0 (3-User) for $40.00
758685 - McAfee Anti-Theft 2009 (1-User) for $29.99
916215 - Staples Tape Dispenser Replacement Core for $0.29 (a filler item to meet coupon requirements)
Your initial total will be $300.25. Staples should already apply coupon code 54644 for $10 off (for TurboTax). Add coupon code 27083 for an additional $75 off (from the Upromise coupon). Then your total is $215.25 plus tax ($20.45 for me) = $235.70.
Now the fun part. Subtract from this:
$10.76 Upromise 5% cash back (pre-tax)
$25 mail-in rebate on Kaspersky
$45 Tax Attach Easy Rebate (for Kaspersky)
$20 mail-in rebate on Webroot
$30 mail-in rebate with Tax (for Webroot)
$20 mail-in rebate on Shredder
$20 mail-in rebate on MS Live OneCare
$20 Tax Attach Easy Rebate (for OneCare)
$30 Tax Attach Easy Rebate (for McAfee)
Or, $220.76.
Your final cost: $14.94. For $300.25 in merchandise.
Best. Deal. Ever. Thanks, Upromise!
