Each time I or my children get coins from a purchase, we put it in a jar. We have saved enough to go to a movie or rent one with money left over to buy a pizza. Now that they see that a little can go a long way, they contribute more than I do.

Wow! You have saved up quite a bit! My kids are always trying to see how much they can save in a month. I am always finding old bent up coins in the jar. I am glad this is a way to teach them about saving.

We save all of our change and at the end of the year deposit it in our daughters saving account. This year she has almost $100.00 She two years old.

Wow. That is another great idea. Your daughter will have a good size nest egg when she starts school!!
